Beach Access
Access to the beach is easy and convenient, but there is more! The Gilded Anchor is adjacent to Scorton Harbor Inlet and an amazing walking trail around the marsh, accessible right from the back yard.
1. Beach Access
Be on the beach in less than two minutes from the Gilded Anchor. Access is available directly across the street via a dune path. We recommend setting up to the right of the path as shown in the diagram above.

2. Scorton Harbor Inlet
A public boat launch, this area provides great views of the changing tides moving through Scorton Harbor and allows for pedestrian circulation directly to the beach. Please be mindful to stay off of the dune grass, especially during high tide.

3. Marsh Walking Trail
Accessible directly from the back yard of the Gilded Anchor, this serene pathway extends along the marsh and is great for a stroll to see the wildlife and sunsets.
